Join The Movement Project for the return of SummerWorks 2026 in Akron! This year’s program will feature new works by The Movement Project, guest performances by our 2026 Summer Intensive artists, and the premiere of our 2026 LINK Artist, part of TMP’s LINK Choreographer Residency, which supports choreographers in their creative process while connecting them with communities across Northeast Ohio and linking the artistic landscapes of Akron and Cleveland.

Moving Through is a powerful dance performance that gives voice to women’s experiences with pregnancy loss, infant loss, and infertility; honoring grief, resilience, and the shared journey toward healing. This project is being developed through The Movement Project’s selection as part of the 2025 cohort of ArtsForward grant recipients, a program facilitated by ArtsNow to support artists and organizations across Summit County.

The Movement Project’s Cleveland Dance Fest returns for its 11th Season, this November at Playhouse Square!
This 3-day festival will showcase dance works by artists from Cleveland, the Midwest, and beyond through our Professional Concert Series, Youth Showcase, Virtual Dance Film Gallery, and free master classes for professional and pre-professional dancers. Artist Line-up and ticket sales go live at the top of September 2026.
