Moving Through
Moving Through: Navigating Pregnancy, Infant Loss, and Infertility through community and movement.
October 2-4, 2026
Balch Street Theatre
Join us October 2nd - 4th, 2026 for an evening of performance and conversation at the Balch Street Theatre in Akron, for the premiere of Moving Through, a new evening-length work exploring the often-unspoken realities of pregnancy loss, infant loss, and infertility. Led by Artistic Director Megan L. Gargano and The Movement Project team, Moving Through is rooted in Gargano’s personal experience. “After the loss of my daughter, Luna, I found myself searching for spaces where I could exist in my grief without needing to explain it. Spaces where I didn’t have to be anything other than where I was. This performance is an offering of that kind of space, for those navigating loss to be held in community, and to know they are not alone. Moving Through creates a space for healing, connection, and advocacy, honoring grief while envisioning a more supported future for all mothers and families.”
