Shows 1-4

PRODUCTION INFORMATION

STAGE SPECS

  • Stage/Marley Floor Dimensions: 25 × 35 (5 panels)

  • Wings & Entering the Stage

    • Access to the stage from backstage - Stage Left Only

      • The space does not have traditional wings.

        • Stage Right: When artists are “offstage” they can stand on the side in view or behind a “upstage traveler wing".

        • Stage Left: When artists are “offstage” they can stand on the side in view or behind the”upstage traveler”. There is an additional space along the side of stage left that is covered by a curtain. We will clip back the curtain for stage access for artists who would like to use this as an entrance.

    • No Crossover

      • Please prepare & adjust your pieces accordingly.

      • Artists entering from stage-right can pre-set at the top of the piece in the blackout. There is an upstage traveler wing they can stand behind.

    • Backdrop: “CYC-like” curtain. See image below.

DRESSING ROOM

  • Miller Classroom: Located 1 level below the theater & studio. (can be accessed via elevator & stairs).

    • Large shared space with tables & chairs

  • Costumes & Props: Please bring all needed costumes & props to wear during tech & store them in the dressing room till after your performance.

WARM-UP SPACE FOR PERFORMANCES

  • Gund Dance Studio: Located down the hall from the theater, artists may utilize this shared space for warming up before and during the performance.

ARTIST SECTION (FOR SHOW YOU ARE PERFORMING IN)

  • Artists must stay backstage till they perform. Once they have performed and changed out of their costumes, they may sit in the designated artist section (balcony space). TMP staff will instruct artists during tech how to access the balcony.

GUND DANCE STUDIO SCHEDULE

  • Below you will find the schedule for the Gund Dance Studio, including open studio times where artists can access the studio for warming-up prior to shows and rehearsing.

  • Schedule will be posted on the studio door.

  • Note for Open Studio Time: This is a shared space. Please be mindful of fellow artists.

    • FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 13TH

    • SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 14TH

TECH SCHEDULE

CHECK-IN (THURSDAY - SUNDAY)

  • Lobby of the Westfield Studio Theatre/Gund Dance Studio: All artists & casts should check-in each dat at the TMP table.

  • CDF Lanyards: All lead artists and cast members will receive a CDF lanyard. Artists should wear their lanyards throughout the weekend.

TECH FORMAT

  • Each artist/group has been assigned a Tech Group (A-G). See below your specific Tech Group.

  • All cast members are required to be present during the assigned Tech Group time. No exceptions.

  • Each piece will be given between 20-30 minutes to confirm lights, space, and run the piece with music and lights.

  • Please notify all cast members of their specific tech time ASAP and that they must be present and on time in order to perform.

  • PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CANNOT MOVE TECH TIMES, AS THERE ARE A LARGE NUMBER OF ARTISTS AND WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE CHANGES.

**ALL ARTISTS/GROUPS SHOULD ARRIVE 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THEIR TECH GROUP TIME**

*Tech groups scheduled during master classes: Once your piece has completed your tech on the stage, you may head over to the studio to take class. Master class teaching artists are aware artists may be joining late or leaving class early to get to scheduled tech time.
