LOgistics & Info for Artists


Location & Parking

Location:

  • Main Entrance for Guests & Artists: Playhouse Square, 1375 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44115

    • Enter: Idea Center at Playhouse Square (Front entrance off of Euclid Ave., under the chandelier)

  • Additional Entrance for TMP Staff & CDF Artists ONLY: 1410 Dodge Ct, Cleveland, OH 44114

    • Enter: Back entrance to the Idea Center (closer option for those parking in the back of building (artists only)

Performances: Idea Center in the Westfield Studio Theatre.

Master classes: Idea Center in the Gund Dance Studio.

Parking: Lot & Garage Parking (as we get closer to CDF, TMP will provide detailed information on public parking options)

Artist Compensation

  • All artist compensation will be mailed via check & postmarked to CDF artists no later than Monday, November 10th.

  • Please note that TMP will be reaching out on November 3rd to confirm the mailing address for each artist.


Tickets

  • Throughout the weekend tickets can be purchased at the box office starting 1 hour prior to each show.

  • DISCOUNTED ARTIST TICKETS

    • All CDF lead artists and their casts can purchase tickets at $10/ticket to attend Shows 1 - 4.

      • Ticket Rules (NEED TO PRESENT CDF LANYARD AT BOX OFFICE) - REQUIRED

        • (Buying at box office) - Each CDF artist (lead artists and cast members only) can present their CDF lanyard at the box office for the shows they are not performing in. (1 ticket per cast member and lead artist)

        • (Have already purchased discounted ticket(s) - If you purchased your tickets ahead of time using the CDF10 code, you will need your lanyard to retrieve your tickets at the box office.

    • PLEASE DO NOT SHARE THIS CODE OR PASS YOUR LANYARD TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS. THESE DISCOUNTED TICKETS ARE RESERVED FOR LEAD ARTISTS AND CAST MEMBERS ONLY. PLEASE COMMUNICATE THIS CLEARLY TO YOUR CAST MEMBERS.

      • Artist Tickets cannot be used/transferred to someone not in the piece and cannot be used for the show they are performing in.


Artist Perks & Resources

Free master classes

  • We’re excited to offer 5 free master classes to CDF artists and the public! Classes will be taught by CDF artists and held in the beautiful Gund Dance Studio at Playhouse Square (Friday–Saturday). We encourage your cast to attend at least one! No prior registration is required. Just show up!

  • NOTE: *Tech groups scheduled during master classes: Once your piece has completed their tech on the stage, you may head over to the studio to take master classes. Teaching artists are aware that dancers may be entering class late or exiting early. Just be mindful as you enter/exit. Thank you!

Artist Gathering - Free lunch!

  • Saturday November 8th from 12:00 - 1:00 pm, following master classes, join us for a free catered lunch for CDF artists, great conversations and building connections!

  • See TMP staff to pick up your lunch (tables located just outside the dressing room)

Artist Panel

  • Saturday November 8th at 1:00 - 1:45 pm, TMP will hold a free and open to the public artist panel "Beyond the Hubs: Cultivating Dance Ecosystems Outside the Big City".  The conversation will highlight the unique strengths, challenges, and innovations within dance communities that thrive beyond major metropolitan centers. Featuring Ohio-based artists from Cleveland Dance Fest, this panel explores how regional ecosystems foster rich, resilient creative practices, and why investing in them matters for the future of the field.

  • NOTE: For artists performing in Show 2, check-in/call time is at 1:45 pm following the artist panel. We encourage you to attend the panel and check-in with TMP staff after the panel.

GUND DANCE STUDIO SCHEDULE

  • Below you will find the schedule for the Gund Dance Studio, including open studio times where artists can access the studio for warming-up prior to shows and rehearsing. (Schedule will be posted on the studio door). Note for Open studio time: This is a shared space. Please be mindful of fellow artists. Open studio time is a shared space.

    • FRIDAY NOV. 7TH

      • 9:00 - 11:00 am OPEN STUDIO TIME

      • 11:15 - 4:30 pm PRO MASTER CLASSES - SESSION 1

      • 4:30 - 9:30 pm OPEN STUDIO TIME *Be mindful Show 1 artists will be warming-up starting at 6:00 pm

    • SATURDAY, NOV. 8TH

      • 8:00 - 8:45 am OPEN STUDIO TIME

      • 9:00 - 2:00 pm PRO MASTER CLASSES - SESSION 2 & ARTIST PANEL

      • 2:00 - 9:30 pm OPEN STUDIO TIME *Be mindful Show 2, 3 & 4 artists will be warming up starting at 2:00 pm

PROFESSIONAL FOOTAGE

  • Digital footage & photos of your piece will be emailed to you between February - March 2026. PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST TO RECEIVE YOUR FOOTAGE BEFORE THAT TIME. There are a large number of works at CDF and it takes our videographer a few months to edit all the footage, put in credit information and finalize each video.

Display marketing materials at CDF

  • A table in the lobby will be designated for CDF artists who would like to display marketing materials.
